Spoon, reddish brown with narrow bowl; long broad flat tapering handle curved on the back and slightly concave on the front in sections. The handle decorated with incised decoration of a band of animals, at the bottom a shark-head with characteristic down turned mouth and many teeth, above him a squatting unidentified animal, above him a third animal, probably a frog.

Spoon with round very clear transparent bowl and hollow handle with curved in four heads, three of which are free standing, the fourth forming the top of the handle. The three former have no mouths, the lowest and third have narrow points which may be beaks of the hawk. The second has a round flat nose. All have small ears, and eyes set with dark blue-green mother-of-pearl. The one at the top has a long face and may by the killer-whale.

Adze made by binding stone blade onto wooden handle. The blade has cutting end beveled from both sides and groove cut around end to holds thong which binds it to handle. The handle is formed of a curved stick growing at right angles from trunk of tree, part of which is used as base for stone blade.

Large wooden ladle carved in shape of horn spoon with sea-monster on handle. he has the killer-whale's head with long face and teeth and the bears' body. The eyes are set with mother-of-pearl. He is represented as sitting carefully balanced on small projection from the bowl of the spoon.

Dish made in form of an animal with dish set into his back. It seems to be a sea-monster with bear's head and killer-whales body. The bear's head is characterized by large mouth set with teeth, large round nose with sudden turn to forehead. On the side sof the dish are two pairs of flippers, or perhaps one pair of flippers and the whale's dorsal fin. The teeth are semi-cylindrical rods of bone, the joints of the flippers and the top of the dish rim are inset with ovals of bone, small white glass beads are set in the ends of the flippers, on the tail and around the dish rim. Eyes and nostrils inlaid with mother-of-pearl.

Spoon, similar to 28.102 except for upper head on handle carving. The wide toothless mouth may indicate the frog, or the turned down corners and high rounded forehead may indicate the shark, probably not the latter. Perhaps no special animal is meant.

Small totem of carved slate ? with carefully finished surface. The upper animal is a bear squatting with his fore-paws under his chin; he is identified by his protruding tongue, large round nose and sudden turn from nose to fore-head; his ears are missing. The lower animal seems also to be a bear, squatting with his tail turned up in front behind his hind legs. He is swallowing some being the legs and hands of which hang out of this mouth; he is grasping the lower legs with his fore-paws. The difference between this bear and the upper one is due to the fact that his forehead is farther foward so that the other bear can perch on his head. This necessitates the spine in the middle of his nose to indicate the sharp turn from nose to forehead. late 19th century.

Fork of blackened wood with long handle with carved figure of sea-monster with killer-whale head and bear body and very large ears. The killer-whale is known by his very long snout. The eyes are inlaid with bone? and the pupils painted black. The crevice of the mouth is painted red.

Spoon with rounded bowl and rather long handle carved with head of sea-monster, a personified snag. The mouth turns down, the round eyes are inlaid with mother of pearl as were origninally the three vertical grooves above the face; the forms around the eye turn down to follow the lines of the mouth. The nostrils may also have been inlaid.

Spoon with short handle carved in form of head of shark, eyes and teeth inalid with mother-of-pearl. Shark is known by his mouth with depressed corners, many teeth, elongated cone over his forehead with two circles and curved lines, round eyes. On this example the ears cover the entire top of the head above the eyebrows and the cone appears only above them.

fork with four broad prongs and carved handle. It represents on top a head of a hawk with its beak turned down over a human mouth and ears on top to indicate it is an animal, and below another bird with very small beak resembling an owl. On the back are carved the tails of the birds, and below the lower head are its feet.
